Summer is coming to an all too quick close, and while poolside frolics and open toed shoes will soon bid us adieu, there’s still time to sneak in a weekend getaway (or two). Here, Reign dishes on our favorite places to stay and play both at home and afar.
For the Staycationers
St. Julien Hotel & Spa
900 Walnut Street, Boulder, Colorado 80302
Nestled in our own backyard, Boulder’s St. Julien Hotel and Spa takes naturally chic to the next level. With a luxurious property located in Boulder’s charming West End, St. Julien allows a gal to get away, while still being in the midst of it all. Lavish appointments such as an in-room soaking tub and an ultra-plush interior can be found at every turn, yet the property still boasts green and energy efficient features galore. While there, be sure to check out the posh patio where you’ll take in sweeping views of the Flatirons over cocktails and delicacies. Also on the docket? Dinner at Jill’s, St. Julien’s signature restaurant followed by drinks at T-Zero, the hotel’s chic watering hole. Fab dining options aside, our favorite part is the tony 10,000 square foot spa, where an extensive array of treatment options await you. Set adjacent to the hotel’s luxe indoor pool and Jacuzzi, Spa at St. Julien offers all of the usual suspects, but with a twist. Try the Boulder Rocks combo, which blends a facial treatment using energy balancing gemstones with a full body, hot-stone massage using local materials from Boulder Canyon. Added bonus? The hotel offers “stay your way” specials that include a $50 credit to use any which way you’d like. With deals like this, you can afford the million dollar views.
