Stars & Slopes

Vail Film Festival Reign Denver MagazineAs if a gal needed an excuse to venture to Vail, this weekend provides a double dose of slope side fun. Now in its 10th year, The Vail Film Festival will be taking our favorite mountain enclave by storm with four days of screenings, soirées and stargazing. From documentaries, to shorts to feature films, the lineup is impressive – think indie rom coms like Drinking Buddies (Olivia Wilde) and docu-drama thrillers like The Iceman (James Franco, Ray Liotta). Movies, and their stars, will be taking over the town with screenings at the likes of Four Seasons Resort, Cinebistro and Vail Mountain School. Plenty of parties, concerts and awards shows are on the docket, too, as are the usual ski town antics (there’s never a better weekend to see and be seen at après).

Passes range from a $75 screening pass to an all-access $995 patron pass. 10th Annual Vail Film Festival, March 28th – 31st, www.vailfilmfestival.com.
