With the Rockies in our backyard, there’s no real excuse for a Colorado gal to shy away from the slopes. And whether you’re a seasoned snow bunny or a bunny hill beginner, this weekend, you can sharpen your skills in style. Keystone is hosting its annual Betty Fest, a two-day, ladies-only ski improvement workshop taught by the resort’s top female, PSIA-Certified instructors. Small groups of gals will band together as they work on their swooshing, all the while receiving private instruction that addresses the specific needs of lady skiers. The workshop, which includes on mountain coaching, video analysis and lunch, is ideal for gals of all levels – whether you’re just finding your groove on the Greens, want help mastering those moguls, or are intent on becoming a Black Diamond diva. You’ll also have the chance to chat about your equipment (skis, ladies) and ask oodles of other questions with regard to your powder prowess. Betty Fest at Keystone Resort, January 14-15, February 11-12 or March 3-4. Ring 800.255.3715 or www.keystoneresort.com.
