Jordan Blakesley & BrieAnn Fast

About

Gals about town BrieAnn Fast and Jordan Blakesley know a thing or two about style.  These up-and-coming publicity hounds are in the loop when it comes to where to stay, play, wine and dine. With a specialty in luxury travel, Jordan and BrieAnn take us globetrotting through a few of their favorite things.

Reign Makers: Jordan Blakesley and BrieAnn Fast

  1. Travel: We take a girl’s trip every year — last year we went to San Francisco, Napa and Sonoma. On this year’s docket is Argentina, where we plan to hit up Buenos Aires, the beach and Mendoza — city, beach and wine country, the makings of perfect girls’ getaway!
  2. Jelly Café: This cute little Cap Hill eatery is halfway between and within biking distance from both our places, so we often meet on Sunday mornings for some homemade donut holes! The place has a great vibe, decorated with cute retro cereal boxes and funky chandeliers. When there is a line, which is often, you can hang out at Beauty Bar next door and enjoy mimosas and house music while you wait for your table.
  3. Blondies: We’ve both been seeing Tara at this hip Cherry Creek salon for years. Not only do we always walk out with a killer ’do, the high-energy stylists always keep us entertained, and our wine glasses full!
  4. Cowboy Boots: A great pair is a must! Whether we’re touring a hotel site that’s under construction, hosting journalists at a dude ranch or just heading to Red Rocks for a concert, our cowboy boots are a wardrobe staple.
  5. Stir Cooking School: A friend introduced us to this cute cooking school in the Highlands, complete with a full bar for liquid kitchen confidence. So far we’ve honed our sushi and ceviche-making skills with Stir’s classes, and will be back soon for another tutorial!
  6. 3FLOZ.com: We love to travel, but the pesky TSA-liquid limits make it difficult to do so in style! Enter 3FLOZ.com, our favorite site to stock up on our go-to branded products, all in 3-oz, airport-friendly containers.
  7. B Public Relations: Our little bambino, we founded the travel and lifestyle PR firm, B PR, together. We met immediately after we graduated college as interns at a public relations firm and have since worked together at three different firms. B PR reflects our love of PR and our shared passion for travel, as well as the food and lifestyle that accompany it.
  8. Cruiser Bikes: We both became proud cruiser owners this year, and can’t get enough of our bikes. Any weekend you might find us on our candy-colored wheels (Brie’s are baby blue, Jordan’s pink and white) at Wash Park, one of the local farmer’s markets or headed to South Broadway for happy hour!
  9. Glider Cider: We discovered this Denver-based Hard Cider at the Botanic Gardens’ annual Garden, Grapes & Hops event earlier this summer. It’s gluten-free, made on Colorado’s western slope and has a super refreshing, lightly sweet taste.
  10. Globetrotting Baubles: We love travel and we love jewelry, so it’s no coincidence that we both make a point to purchase a piece of jewelry from each of our trips. Whether it’s a silver cuff from Cambodia, bangles from the jungles of Mexico or earrings from Spain, we subscribe to the point of view that each piece should have a story.
  11. The Truffle Cheese Shop on 6th: Hands-down the best destination in Denver to pick up mouth-watering fare. While we love the regular cheese classes to learn to make homemade mozzarella, we also love to drop in and pick up some delicious duck pate and Chinotto, a refreshing Italian drink that tastes similar to Coke, just a bit more bitter and without the caffeine!
