About

A staple on the Colorado philanthropy circuit, Jill Landman Alfond is as sweet as she is stylish. It was only natural, then, that she open a candy store chock-full of confections and gifts as colorful as her personality. Sugarlicious, Landman-Alfond’s new Cherry Creek venture, has opened its doors to rave reviews, and with good reason. Here, she shares a few of the things she simply can’t live without.

Jill Landman Alfond

  1. Love the El Diablo patio. A teeny tiny slice of heaven and so close to Matthew Morris, my hair God.
  2. I need salt water at least three times a year. Palm Beach, Mexico and Costa Rica are my favorites.
  3. I’m obsessed with AG jeans — all of them — especially the new neon and sorbet colors!
  4. I love a night out seeing stand up comedy. Denver gets great comedians and I try to take advantage!
  5. I will always love my ’84 VW Rabbit Convertible, and the music that goes with it.
  6. I am a huge fan of pink drinks! Rose wine on a summer day, Rose champagne anytime and good friends to share both with.
  7. I am addicted to my iPhone (and these adorable Jonathan Adler covers). Because I commute from Vail to Denver, I am always on the go and it is literally my survival tool – from getting directions, to looking up vendor contacts, to keeping in touch with my friends on the fly. It’s my best friend.
  8. My go-to beauty regimen consists of sprays at Darque Tan, NUDE eye cream and MAC Lipglass.
  9. I always get my bike fix from Excel Sports in Boulder. They have the best quality products and hands-down the best customer service.
  10. Dark Chocolate Gummy Bears are officially my newest food group. They are the perfect combination of chocolate and tart flavors, and are a favorite at Sugarlicious.
  11. I love Dunkin’ Donuts coffee. My adoration began in Boston, but I have learned to adjust. Starbucks has nothing on DD!
  12. Can’t live without sports – and flyovers at sports events. As a former sports journalist I will always have a passion and penchant for games.
