Home Sweet Home
Always in search of the most fabulous appointments to grace our homes, we bore easily with the big-box options. After all, how many chenille throws and canvas stripe pillows can a girl have? No, ladies…we want more. More style, more dimension, more “where on earth did you find that?!” declarations of jealousy from our friends and neighbors. Thankfully, there’s Hutch & Fig, the Cherry Creek North haven filled with all sorts of domestic deliciousness. The brainchild of retail goddess Amy Hutchens Figge (whose name cleverly adorns the shop’s adorable awning) the store carries unique tabletop items, home décor, gifts and accessories that are anything but bland. We love the fine ‘Berry & Thread’ stoneware by Juliska for a look that’s casually chic, and vases and glassware by Texas artist Jan Barboglio for a style that’s equal parts rustic and romantic. Brides-to-be will swoon over Hutch & Fig, too. The boutique offers a gift registry that is unlike any other, and allows her to choose furnishings and frill that won’t be found in every other newlywed’s living room.
