Celebrate Fashion

It’s October, and along with the onset of cooler temps (cue the snow) and crisp days, Colorado girls also follow the trends being shown on the New York, Milan and London runways. Yet nowadays, we needn’t collect stamps in our passports to get our fashion fixes.  Denver has its own fair share of well-produced shows, beginning with Cherry Creek North’s Celebrate Fashion event. On October 18th, the city’s swankiest streets will transform into a designer Mecca where well-heeled women can indulge to their hearts’ content. From 6 to 8, shop the Cherry Creek North district for special gifts, incentives, cocktail parties and other little extras. Then, hit Fillmore Plaza, where the party continues. Sip on libations as you prepare to be dazzled by Denver’s most oveLittle Me's Tutu Du Monde Reign Denver Magaziner the top runway show. At 8, the tiny trendsetters from Little Me’s and Young Colors will take to the catwalk where they’ll strut their all-too-adorable stuff.  Immediately following, it’s show time. Designers like Trina Turk, Calypso St. Barth and more will showcase their most fabulous fall looks from our favorite Cherry Creek North boutiques – think Garbarini, SOL, Eccentricity and more. The evening will end on a festive note, with an after party at Cherry. Tickets are $60 for GA or $125-$200 for VIP that includes valet parking, runway seating and a gift bag of epic proportions. On the runway…

From Little Me’s
What could be more adorable than Gatsby inspired dresses for the littlest fashionistas? Check out the looks from Tutu Du Monde for your girls, while boys show off dashing duds like colorful, patterned Joe’s Jeans and cardigans from mini fave, Fore Axel and Hudson.

From Garbarini
The Denver favorite will be showcasing pieces from Robert Rodriguez, playing off fall’s ever-present black and white trend. A playful approach to ’70s glam punk with hardware such as studs and safety pins are softened with lace and embellishments.

From Jos A Bank
From tuxedos and formal wear for holiday events, to fine tailored suiting, this men’s fashion fave will be showcasing looks that will make your man both dashing and dapper. Think fitted, slim silhouettes for fall that evoke a classic sense of charm with an updated, modern feel.

From Eccentricity
Always a favorite for unique, eclectic looks for her, Eccentricity will be showcasing rich fall fashions in funky, bold and inviting colors and textures.

From SOL
What’s underneath counts, too and Cherry Creek North’s SOL lingerie doesn’t miss a beat when it comes to underpinnings that are both frilly and fashion forward. Proprietress Cindy Johnson took her cues from Pantone’s fall color report, evoking a very rich, temptress-like feel. Think Poison Ivy (Uma Thurman’s character in Batman) meets Babylon.
